For parents
Most of us learned how money works the expensive way — late, and by making mistakes. This book is the other way.
Why start at 10?
Ten to fifteen is when kids start earning a little, spending online, and noticing that money is complicated. It is also when they still ask questions out loud. The Money Code gives them the answers early, before it costs them anything.

How to read it together
- #1
Read the riddle first and guess.
Before turning the page, ask what the riddle might mean. Wrong guesses are half the fun.
- #2
Let the story do the work.
Each left page ends on a question. Ask your kid what they think before reading the answer.
- #3
Try the activity.
Every spread has a Try It box. Most take ten minutes and use things you already have at home.

Is it right for my kid?
Written for confident readers aged 10 to 15. Younger readers enjoy it with an adult; teens read it on their own. It is general education about how money works — not financial advice.
